Primary Training ability - Muscular endurance Secondary Training ability - Aerobic endurance Goal/Target of session - Improve aerobic threshold and ability to clear lactate from the muscles. - This session will be working on improving your FTP and your ability to hold it for longer periods. This is a great session to acheive some of the benefits of the longer threshold intervals but in a shorter amount of time. - You will be working right at the top of Z4 threshold and touching low VO2 Z5. - Working at threshold intensity is directly designed to improving your Functional Threshold Power (FTP) and your ability to hold it for longer durations.
