This should allow you to work on your ability to get over short sharp climbs. Try to stay smooth and keep the pedals traveling in circles, it needs to be like this in training and will become automatic - you won't be able to think about it when racing! The target wattages are only a guide, the efforts should be the most that you can sustain, bear in mind how many you will be doing! Always best if you can do this on a local hill, stay safe and be aware of your surroundings if doing this outside though.
